Ecotech Battery Backup work with gyres?

Has anyone gotten the ecotech battery backups to work with gyres?

I having to switch to from MP40’s to Gyres because my corals are growingtoo close to the pumps. This will allow me to grow corals out bigger without ripping the flesh off them.

Can it work or am I going to have to replace them as well?

Yeah I was just hoping not to have to buy new backups.

are those as easy to change batteries in as the ecotech ones?

I have no idea. I have Vortechs and the Ecotech backup battery.
