Ecotech battery backup

I am using an Ecotech battery to back up my Vectra return pump (along with the Vectra booster cable). For whatever reason, once the power goes out, the Vectra only runs at 100% when on battery. The pump is set to reduce to 15% per Ecosmartlive if on battery. The return pump has been calibrated if that changes anything. Any ideas?
