Has anyone read the recently released Ecotech Marine "Coral Lab" whitepaper? Its a really good 13 page (with lots of pictures) case study in reef keeping using LED lights and compares results to T5's and metal halides.

The paper goes over 3 lighting programs with suggestions that were developed by a large wholesaler out of Canada - "Reef Wholesale". I think it's well worth a read. I'm just started using the LPS Tank scheduled.

I'm curious what others thing.

I saved the white paper for future reading, but from what I did read, it is very interesting. I personally have had great results under T5 and LED. My next tank will be a combination of both.

I hear a lot about people mixing LED and T5's now and having really good success. Kind of the new thing to do with lights now.

Thanks for the link
right up my alley

That's a great read, thanks for the heads up. I used mixed LED and T5 over my DT and have had good growth and great colors.
