Well I'm new to Salt tanks. Just got a 120gal (45 days ago) 10year established tank from a customer with 15 fish (can't pronounce most of the fish types - but all very cool), 2 BTA, 2 tube Anen. 3 shrimp, 12 to 15 hermits and 3 to 5 snails, BUT I can guarantee you he was oversold a bunch of old school blue and white and moon likes to the tune of probably $1500.00 plus by his monthly tank guy so I'm looking to remove all those lights and would like to get something new, cool and make my tank pop better than snorkeling in the Caribbean and from the specs and the info on this light this should be the icing on my tank. Yes I will post a before pic once I have a fantastic after pic.

For me the biggest appeal is LED. I got my first LED lights for my tank with the kit, and they're amazing. I can only imagine what really good reef lights like these would look like! More coverage definitely sounds awesome too! In fact everything I'm reading about them makes them sound like something I really want to have for my tank!

I love the 4 gen 3s hanging over my 300 and would love the gen 4 to see the HEI effect versus the gen 3. Maybe would have to upgrade the other 3 if I win.

I really love the look of this light, its beautiful. Energy efficiency is great with todays high energy costs, which this light is. Not only that but its got great color options, being able to tweak a light is a must for me, and this light is the ultimate in control. I can see that a lot of love and thought was put into this light! 5 stars!
