I have two G3 XR30 pros that I have upgraded to the TIR lenses. The difference was night and day. So I can only imagine the improvement the new HEI lenses will have on the dispersion of light on the new G4 models. Not to mention the redesign of the LED cluster with addition of the warm white and violet colors to help with color of my corals. I love all my Ecotech Marine equipment on my tank.

I'm using the XR15 Gen4 Pro on my IN Nuvo 40 and love this light. Very easy to use and set up with my Reef Link. I love these lights.

I think the Ecotech Marine G4 Pro's are great. I like the menus and how I can pick a program that is made to help my coral grow. I also love the clouds and lighting storms. They have save me money from my metal halides in operational cost and they run nice and cool. I really am very happy with them.

Love my Gen 2s but would love to see the difference the new optics and color spectrum would do. I have two G2s now so it would interesting to place a frag on each side of the tank and compare growth and color.
