So I recently noticed my reeflink isn't connecting to the internet. In the past I've been able to just unplug then replug in the reeflink and everything is fine and dandy.

Well this time that didn't work so I decided to try to contact Ecotech about the issue expecting to quickly resolve the issue being that I've always only heard great things about the customer service from ecotech.

During my first call to ecotech, the port was switched on my reeflink from 80 to 8080 and I was told that would fix the issue, if not then call back...

That didnt fix the problem so I called back. A different rep told me that most likely it is an issue with my ISP so i would need to call them and tell them to open some ports and change the DNS server to google. Well I called up Verizon and they told me thats something I would need to do on my own through my router, and they couldn't really help me because they had never heard of a reeflink and wasn't sure what exactly needed to be done. They showed me where I would need to go for port forwarding and port triggering on the router and suggested I call back ecotech to figure out what exactly they need done.

So I called back ecotech and they seemed to have no idea what exactly needed to be done. I told them I was showed how to open ports but there was a drop down menu with different port protocols (UDP, ICMP, GRE, ESP... etc). I had already forwarded the ports and did port triggering under UDP with everything set to 8080 which is what they wanted and it hadn't worked so was wondering if they needed a different protocol done, but was basically told they dont know, they just know that I need port 8080 to be open.

So being that it is now after hours for ecotech (not that they seem to be able to help me anymore), I was hoping someone on here would know how to help me and maybe walk me through getting my reeflink back online.

Some side notes, reeflink had been connected to the internet a few weeks ago which was the last time I did anything with it to notice. Nothing in the house related to internet, or routers has changed. And on the reeflink itself I have a circle that is half green and half yellow.
