Well got this for my office tank, but it was too powerful even at the lowest setting. I hooked it up using the blue slip fittings, so those may or may not be able to be reused. However, I did order the BSP threaded slip adapters from Ecotech, so those can be used to plumb it up if you cannot use the other pieces. Probably better if you are looking to get the most efficiency. Would be great on a larger system with a full siphon setup or as a closed loop pump. Have another for my tank at home, so do not need this one. $315 shipped.

What size tank did you plan on using this with?
Idk wat size he had his on but mines in a 40g shallow tank 30x30x10 and on lowest setting calibrated it barely moves water and all the way it's moving water amazingly well! Perfect pump for any tank (except nano) it's rated at 2000gph max

I had it on a 57g rimless rr tank. Even after having ran it through a chiller and manifold b4 entering the tank, it still was too much for my 1" overflow to handle (quietly) on the lowest setting ...lol

Replaced it with an Apex ready Waveline pump that maxes out at 1500 gph and has a lower threshold. It is working well.

Perfect. Thanks for the reply. My tank is 30x30x16 so ill be okay.
Yea you should be good. Just definitely calibrate it from the start so your lowest setting there's almost no water movement. When calibrated at lowest setting it should be just strong enough to not have water go backwards in return pipes.
