Hi all. Well after 6 months, my Jebao RW-4 has bitten the dust. I'm not sure I want to roll the dice on another one, so I'm debating getting the EcoTech quiet drive MP-10. Does anyone have one in a 29 biocube? Will this be to much flow for this size tank? Any comments, or help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Brent

I have an MP-10 in a JBJ 28. You simply turn it down a little....don't run it at 100%. I also have one in my sump....which is a 40B with partitions....of maybe 18 gallons....again, turned down. So no problem with one in a 29 cube.

I'm running a Tunze 6040 in a 14g all in one its running at about 30% at the moment. I think you should be perfectly fine since they are adjustable.

I run a MP10 well past 75% in my 15"x 15" cube. So my vote is you'll be fine. Of course I'm running barebottom and pretty much all SPS too.

I have one in my BC29 @50% and a WP10 on the opposite side at 50@ on else mode.....your fine! I wanna replace the WP with another MP10, cuz the MP has much better options!

I think you will be happy with the mp10. I ran one at 80% on reefcrest mode on my biocube 14. I didn't think it was too much flow at all but that was 100% SPS.

Just put one in my biocube and love it. Run mine at 50% lagoon.

Left side about 6 inches back and 5 inches down
