Ecotech MP Rusting?

Hello, I have a question regarding my MP60, it appears that I might have some rust on the stainless steel shaft were the ceramic meets the shaft. Has anyone else ever had this issue before? the pump has been in service for about 11 months.

I always have a tiny bit of discoloration at that spot. Mine doesn’t seem to get worse.

Rust on mp40qd shaft?

Is it normal to get rust on the shaft of a mp40qd? I have it on both of mine

MP40QD Rusted...

is endemic of all pumps? Both at the same time? They are 3.5 years old, and I have done all the periodic cleanings since I started to see rust on the shaft and I had heard about totally rusted pieces. Has it happened to more people? Is it a defective manufacture? If so, they have already fixed...
