Ok guys I want to know what setting y'all like for you mp's. I want to know your tank size what settings you like this speed and are you running scene or anti-sink, and what coral you have. Also why.
Ill start this out I have a 55, 2 mp10s w running reef crest 100% power and mostly Lps and some zoas. I like this setting because it give my Lps that back and forth flowing and not to hard for my zoas.

i have a 90G with 2x MP40w's and 2x MP10w's. all running at lagoon mode. MP40's at about 75%, MP10's ~60%. SPS tank.
Also have a BC29 softies/lps tank with a single MP10 running lagoon primarily but I've been known to walk by and switch it up. running about ~50% as anymore and the yumas get ****** off.

Do you run master slave with any of them. And that's some movement in that 90. Sps must love it.

The MP40's are in anti-sync mode, the MP10's are running separate from one another (had to resolve an issue, so was swapping head units back and forth)

2 mp40 set to reef crest. Both are set separately and at about 65-70%. Sps/lps dominant. 180g with3 3/4 seaswirls powered by a dart gold. Upgrading to a hammerhead though.

I bet with that big old tank you could get some good size wave action in that thing. Seems like more people use reef crest and. Lagoon mode over what they pride themselves on " short & long" wave action.

Lol I actually switch it up randomly. I used to run full power but it started moving sand around.

Ya no thank you. Lol my wife was asking me isn't that to strong for the corals and I Was trying to explain to her that the ocean current is stronger than the current that we can create in our tanks.

I know, old thread but……110g SPS dominant, bare bottom w/ true c2c overflow. 4'x2'x21" I run 2 MP 40Wes at 100% I switch every few days from NTM to reef crest. Lately I've been giving the TSM a try. My SPS seem to thrive in all modes. My z and ps love it too. Not so much my few acans and lobos.
