Hi all,

I just recently picked up a second MP10 from my local shop, it was used but in great condition. Upon getting it set up, I'm noticing the wet side propeller is making a very noticable rattling noise.

After taking it apart, it seems pretty clear the issue is that the propeller magnet not making a great connection with the dry side magnet and is rattling around as a result. I verified on my other MP10 Dry Side, and it's the same deal there.

I can't find anything else that would be an apparent issue outside of magnetic connection. Everything else about the propeller chamber looks perfectly fine and clean.

I've contemplated using a thin layer of crazy glue to adhere the magnet to the plastic shell, but I don't know if that will even work and I'm also not sure if it's a great idea to make that chamber entirely uncleanable moving forward.

If anyone has any input on the glue idea or any further ideas, I'm all ears. Any help would be appreciated!

Sounds like your glass/acrylic is too thick for the pump. You can also check the ceramic shaft it can break easily.

My other MP10 that I've been using for 2 years now works just fine on the same glass.

What power setting are you using I notice if I ramp my mp 40 above 90% it rattles. Also I sometimes get a rattle after cleaning mine and it often is the dry side and wet side are not perfectly aligned and I have to slightly move dry side till it stops.

It does it at any speed, and further reinforcing my connection theory is that if the speed is too low, the connection just totally fails, and the wet side falls off.

Again, I tested this one my other MP10 as well in the same configuration that my other wet side works perfectly in, so it's not a positioning issue.

Hmm I read this post maybe it will help.

other then ordering a new wet-side connection I know there around 65 bucks.
