I was wondering if there any way to replace the padding material on the wet side of and Ecotech MP40?

Did yours come off?
If the surface is clean and even, you can glue a thin piece of felt or rubber to the back.

I did come off, what adhesive should I use?

Since I have it around I would use a spray adhesive like crafters use. It will go on even, unlike trying to super glue it

I went to Michaels and got a thin black sheet of adhesive foam and this is the final product. It has also been in the water as well. Let me know what you all think?

Looks good to me. I would have rather you used some kind of Felt material but this will probably work just fine.

If the foam does not work out over the long haul and you can't find proper Felt I can vouch for this rubber. It is thin and strong but does have that weird Chinese rubber smell that take a few days left outside in the sun to disappear.

This stuff is also great for making gaskets to stop leaks.

I just tried to use as close as to the original material as possible. I ended up buying two of the sheets for 99¢ a piece just in case.
