Ecotech or IceCap for BBU and Pump

Hey now.

So it’s time to do a battery back up and return pump. I do own an Ecotech Vectra but to be honest I have been reading horror stories from Ecotech.

so if you were me, would you do an ecotech vectra and battery back up with booster or would you do an IceCap battery back up with a Reef Octopus return pump?

Besides the horror stories from Ecotech Mobius app, and the Versa pumps (which by the way they are taking care of their customers that have had issues with) the Vectra Pumps are rock solid.

So honestly, either pump will work great for you.
On the BBU front, I can't speak for either as I don't run one as have a generator
