I didn't like the idea of my MP40 driver so close to my tank so I made some extension cables to lengthen the dry-side cord. This allowed me the ability to locate the driver farther away from my DT and eliminate the possibility of accidental water damage. Since then I have installed some conduit between the walls and now I no longer need these cords.
These cords are plug and play, meaning that you do not need to cut or alter your current cords to make them work. Simply remove (pull off) the control knob, remove the 3 screw from the back of the driver housing, separate the 2 halves of the housing, lift the board from the housing, disconnect the dryside cord from the board, plug the new cord (male end) into the board and plug the 2 remaining cord ends together. Then mate the driver housing back together, re-install the 3 screws and press the knob back on. And now your MP pump cord is 12" long instead of 8'. That's all that is to it.

I have 2 of these cords, both are 4' in length and I am looking to get $38 each or $72 for both (price firm and includes shipping).

Is this something you made or does EcoTech sell these? I am in a situation where I just realized the cords are only 8 foot long and my 265g tank is 7 foot long and I want to have both controllers in a electronics cabinet next to the tank. Obviously one side is fine since it would be sitting right next to it with 8’ of cable but the other side is now a problem. So I may be interested. Where did you get these?

I made the cables, I used a cord from an old MP40 dry side. The ends are a 10-pin Molex connector. But unless you have an old pump lying around, finding a cord is the more difficult part. (Note that the cable for a QD is different from the ES and older models.)
EcoTech does not sell these cables but from my inquiries with them, they relayed that they will extend the cables on a pump for a fee but you will have to send the pump to them. Also once they extend the cord you will always have an altered cord. If you use/make a cord like this you can simply unplug it.
