Hi everyone ,

I am looking for some advice on pump placement for my 2 mp10s. I have a 65 gallon tank and currently they are on the side panels of the tank. I was thinking that they might be better on the same side (opposite of the corner (right side)overflow)

Or should one be on the back of the tank and one on the left?

Follow up question. Are the MP 10s sufficient?

Two mp10s should be fine for that. I have a 40 breeder which is the same footprint only shorter and I've got two mp10s powering mine. I however have mine on the back wall. But opposite of eachother on the side walls works as well :)

Thanks! It just doesn’t look like a ton of flow... and it was a bit concerning.
What power % are you running them at? Any advice for program modes as well?

Been running mine in lagoon mode at 100% with a mixed reef and that has been working out well :)

Awesome. I was running the same program but at 60%. I’ll have to turn it up ;)

I might give the back of the tank a shot. It’s a much cleaner look and I’m sure you can hardly hear the pumps.

Are your pumps on the back level with each other?

Yes. Level with eachother and evenly spaced out. I really enjoy the back wall install as well. Make it look so clean
