EcoTech Radion G4 Future Compatibility Question

So I have asked this question to BRS and on the Neptune Systems forms and have not receive an answer from either. While my main setup is going to be MH and VHO, I do have some G4 XR15W Pros that I was to use for other reasons and like the Apex interface. So that being said, since I have not received an answer I though I’d ask it here to see if someone here knows. If this is not the right place to post this I apologize and please feel free to move.

With the release of the EcoTech Marine Radion 30 & 15 G5 Blue and Pro, that no longer needs the Reeflink, EcoSmart Live and is not compatible with Apex due to Mobius. Will any future firmware updates of G4 and lower Radions or any firmware update of Apex or the WXM module itself cause any connection issues with the G4 or older Radions or Vortec products that currently have Apex control?

Probably the reason you got no answer is that nobody yet knows the answer ..... it’s something you’d have to ask ecotech. Personally I’d be quite surprised if legacy capability were removed from older products, but obviously I do not know for sure. Just don’t do anymore firmware updates LOL. I’d be quite happy to move my Vectra and Radions off reeflink, but I do like WXM control of my vortechs
