So what do you guys recommend. I'm planning on mostly collecting acans and zoa's. The tank is a Waterbox Marine X 60.2 so one xr15 should be enough.

I'm waiting on some xr30 blues right now.
I personally prefer a deep water bluer look to my lighting and take it right down to actinic at night so the choice was easy.

the blue is not really bluer but rather much whiter than expected. if i had to make another decision, i would tend to pro!

There is a good YouTube video on this, he posted it on here too.
The comparison between the Pro and the Blue seemed to show when both lights were in full blue mode they were near enough the same, the video didn’t compare the lights in full white mode to get a good feeling for how the Blue handled white mode.

I chose the pro over the blue, has alot for flexibility in changes hence why it is called a pro" absolutely love it.

BRS did a video on this comparison.

Depends how you will set the light. (% based on LED count)
Blue has 50% more violet (425 nm)
Blue has 33% more Royal/ Blue (450-475 nm)
Blue has 66% more "greenish" (Cyan(Blue) 500nm vs Green(Pro) 520 nm)
Pro has 50% more "Yellow" (Warm White in pro is a mix of Royal (450 nm) and Lime (~500-640 nm))
Pro has 100% more Red (655 nm)
Pro has 400% more Cool White (440 nm, 500-630 nm)

If you are going to run the Cool whites at 50% or less, the Blue is better
If you want more of the Violet and 450-475 nm, Blue is better

If you want more red and yellow, Pro is better

(IMHO, the "Whitish" amount in the Blue comes from the Cyan channel, just set that to 50% vs 100% and it has a much nicer color)

I have the pro and like it a lot. I run it with a more natural look so it’s not blown out with too much blue. That being said, I have never tried the blue.

I have the pro... seems PLENTY blue, even for those that like the blue look. I’m finding that I may want to make it less blue, because I like a more natural look. Running AB+ at the moment.

But will wait until I’m stocked with coral to make a final call. I don’t think you can go wrong either way, but I felt like with the Pro it gave me the option to dial it in to either a “blue” or “white” look, depending on how I’m feeling.
