Ecotech radion xr30 tir lense upgrade

So I have a GEN 1 Radion.... Everything in my tank was doing great but I always think I need more light. I bought the lenses back in December and finally decided to put them in about a month 1/2 ago. Well everything was ok for a couple days and then I started to have my chalices bleach on me then some of my z/p started turning brown and losing color. I turned the radion down but was still having bad luck with them. I was thinking my tank was going to crash. I tested everything and the last thing i thought of was the light fixture. Everything tested perfect. The only thing it could have been was the lights. I said screw it and put my stock lenses back in about 2 weeks ago and now everything is back to normal except one the chalices that bleached but all my z/p all are back to having full color again. Anyone else have this experience with these lenses?

Well I know they give a roughly 25% higher output to the fixture, I wonder if the light was more directed at one area, the bleaching of the chalices would indicate to much light. Z/P turning brown indicate melting I do believe. Could have just been that is was simply directing to much light I dont remember the angle of those compared to factory.

The lenses and the pro versions are for people with tanks deeper than 30". I run my stock Gen 1, 18" over a 22" deep tank.
I don't run them over 80%, or it would easily fry everything. Really don't need the lenses, I can almost guarantee that is your
reason your corals are bleaching.
