As a PSA to anyone using Radions with the single arm RMS mounts, remove your mount from tank and check for any cracking. Mine have been in service for 8 years and one mount broke the other night, and the light modules fell into the tank. So far the fish seem ok, but have already lost corals.

I know it's blasphemy, but a guy in my area used a Kessil light mount with the Ecotech bracket for a Radion light. He had to modify the bracket by drilling a hole. Sorry for your losses.

Can you provide some photos to where they crack? I have some that are pushing 6 years over my sump and probably need to give them a once over.

Well mine have been up 1.5 years and all were used. I just checked, all 4 of mine are cracked. Looks like to much stress from pressure but the cracks were not their when I hung them.
They are all gen5's.
Guess I need to order 4 replacements.
I may have never known until one ended up in my tank.
My system is rimmed and alot harder to hang correctly than a non rimmed system.
Just took this pic.
Zoom in for a better look.

Am I wrong , but this may sound like a manufacturing issue ? No ?Yes ?
Kinda sounds like it hu? I wonder how many are out there but just haven't gotten to the point of failure like @Mushroomhead unfortunate incident. It's probably not something most people would even think to look for until it fails.
