Ecotech Reeflink not finding Vortech

The #3 light is red on the reeflink which is the RF module light. The trouble code sheet says to open the reeflink and reset the RF module. Huh? as in open up the box or as in open it up in ecotech live site.

Also, when I try to update my MP40 so it can connect, it will not go into update mode. Flashes red and white as it should, but does not flash blue and green after holding down the "set" button.

Not sur eif it's related.

Ideas?

I ended up doing surgery on the reeflink. The actual RF module was rattling around in the reeflink. I put it back in place and BAM I have all blue lights!

HOWEVER, the vortech will still not update and the reeflink won't find it. Now that ecosmart live can "see" the reeflink, ecosmartlive won't even go to the screen telling me to update the Vortech driver. It just spins the thinking wheel perpetually and never goes away.

YEP. You open it up and put the RF chip back in place. Apparently, they are very loose and fall out from time to time. Hope you got the thing working.
