I did but the light stays solid white meaning it is tied to another account. The usb cord was not included so I ordered one from Amazon that will be here Sunday. I assumed the reeflink was new from the OP's description but it is not. I have setup several of these already with no problems.

I honestly despise Ecotech for doing this. They could also have used a different type of connection that is more common than a usb to usb cable.

That sucks. Give Ecotech a call and tell them you bought a used reeflink. Give them the serial number and they will clear it up for you. Took me less than 5 minutes to get mine squared away. I also needed that USB cable, but I happened to have one from an external off brand hard drive and it worked.
