Ecotech RMS Track Length Question

I'm trying to find out if you can cut the RMS Light Track to fit the length of your tank? Planning to order the 60.5 length for my 525xl (59.5ish length tank), but do not want the light track to extend pass the mounts. See picture below for example. So can you cut the track to dial in specific length and not loose any functionality? Planning to put 3 XR15s on the track immediately with another light down the road when budget allows.

Yes, you can cut it. It’s just extruded aluminum. Only negative is the cut will be silver instead of black.
