Ecotech Vectra DC Pumps

Are the Ecotech Vectra pumps worth the extra money? I've heard of a lot of folks using the Jebao pumps with good success. Thoughts?

I'd be willing to spend the extra money if I can justify it, but I would like to hear some justification

Well, I bit the bullet and ordered a DCT-6000 and two RW-8s for my 125-gallon tank. I'm hoping they're as good of a value as I've read. I also ordered a DP-4 dosing pump just to try it out.

Stuff should start arriving on Wednesday.

Two Eheim 200W heaters are on the way as well. I guess the Apex is next on the list

LOL, I found this pretty funny. To be honest, I really hope for the best as there are a lot of people that claim to have great success with products from this mfg. What I found funny was that you skimped on the price of your return pump but are considering the Cadillac of controllers. I say go for it!

I didn't consider it skimping. One of my reef buds recommended it after having such good luck with it. Besides, no one thought it was worthwhile to comment on why the Ecotech would be better, so I just went with something a close friend recommended. Guess I'll see how it turns out in the end.

I will be making provisions to change out the pump if need be, though

I have the vectra m1 you can't hear it run. It is great! Lots of flow and dead quiet!
