And here’s another one. Just pulled this one today, oddly this is an M1 and was ran submerged for the last six months. It was brand new when it was installed and ran submerged the whole time.

Man this hobby is killing me. I spent a fortune on my SICCE 9 pump and started looking into why it was so loud and then found the forum about it. I switched to the Vectra L1 thinking I had put my problems behind me and then I found this post. I guess I’ll be crossing my fingers. I was looking at getting a used one to keep on hand, just in case. Man I miss my Mag 12 (which I have 2 in the garage).

You should be fine with yours.
These seemed to happen on earlier models.
Ecotech replaced them under warranty.

Well you can always keep your eye on a Dart. Its not DC, but its a tank. I"m following you because I want to go DC route for noise reduction. But that noise reduction seems like it would be replaced by me making a bunch of noise when it failed. LOL.
