I purchased a Vectra L2 from BRS to replace my L1 and did not check the difference in the outlet dimensions.

Brand new, never even taken out of the box. $450 shipping included anywhere in the continental US.

My fault for not checking first. The M1 and M2 made changes as well. So now the output of the M2 is the same as the L1 was. Since I was only using the L1 at about 30% output I am going to replace it with an M2 so I dont have to redo all my plumbing.

Since the box was opened I had to cover a 10% restocking fee, but I am going to send it back.

Just some info.

My L1 was on it’s way out & I reached out to EcoTech because I too didn’t want to change my plumbing. The volute is identical and interchangeable, aside from the thread size, so with 4 bolts I swapped the L1 volute to the L2 motor block saving the headache of re-plumbing.

Hahaha dang....I put it in the mail earlier today back to BRS and ordered an M2 which matches the plumbing.

I would have much rather just done what you did.
