Ecotech Vectra L2 question

Hi - does anyone have an L2? How can I use flex hose/tube for this pump? I see an L1 barb online but can I use this for the l2?

I have the smallest one and used 3/4 barb and a small piece of 3/4 pvc to attach the barb to a flex hose

Sorry I’m away from tank but the piece that comes out of the pump I glued a small length of 3/4 inch pvc pipe then glued the 3/4 inch barb then attached the 3/4 thread inch flex hose to the 3/4 inch barb on the pvc return line. The reason I went with the flex hose attached to the return pump was to stop any vibration noise

Take the blue adapter off the pump and take it to your local hardware store and match it up

Most home improvement stores have everything you need to plumb a tank minus bulkheads. Hope this helps

Good idea - according to what I’ve been told, flex hose works better for my setup (Elos 120xl)

Threads on the gen 2 are the same as gen 1.

are you sure? I ask bc Marine depot had a l1 vs l2 faq and said l1 accessories will not fit l2.

Sorry, native threads are the same but the couplers are different. Still should accept a 1 1/4” slip barb though. Perhaps best to call ETM and ask.
