Ecoxotic par 38

im thinking about buying one of the Ecoxotic par 38 light the 6050. Was wondering if any one has one or if it is worth spending the money gona hang it over my 24g Cardiff tank.

i think they look great, the only downside i would see is it is a single bulb that you cannot control each color independently, i think. I have not owned one, but the LFS has one on a cube, very good color

These lights tend to be very focused, and do not have a wide spread. I had a coworker who had to use two for his tank. Because they are pretty focused, they can also be overpowered for smaller/shallow tanks. If you do decided to use them, be sure to get a light fixture that has a dimmer on it.

its going over a small tank so i think the spread wont be much a problem
