Picked up my first couple frags for my DT. Frags are in my quarintine currently. I acclimated them, gave them a dip in Reef Primer and put them on the rack.
1- Orange Ricordea YumaMushroom
1- Gobstopper
1- candy apple

Mushroom looks great, put Zoas still havnt opened, I'm assuming this is normal? It's been 48hrs since I put into my tank. They are currently in low area. HD PRIME light sits about 16" above rack where they sit.

They might need a few more days to get over the dip, I have some from Saturday that are just now starting to open up a bit after being dipped.

So day four, still not open. How much time does this usually take for them to open? I'm thinking I've acclimated properly and long enough, was only .03 off from frag tank they came from. With only 5 minute dip. Mind you these are my very first corals ever sooo. Should I move into higher flow/ reduce or increase light, etc

Water parameters are,

Ph 8.03
Sa 1.026
Temp 78.5- 79.5
Phos 0
Nitrate .02
Nitrite 22
Cal 500
Dkh 7.6

I have a rock with zoas on it that was buried in the sand for a few weeks. Brought it out and they opened up after a week. Some time later, my anemone decided to make house on top of them. Eventually it moved. They then opened back up. They can survive Zola pox, being closed up for weeks to open up later. Just give them time.

If they are Healthy and Not Fresh Cuts They Should be Open by the Next Day.
