hello I have a friend and he dosed around 40 drops of cupermine in a 90 gallon. The dosage is good for 20 gallons of water. But the tank has an eel will it be ok

Oh and he said he stopped the dosage because he realized that he should look up if eels are ok with copper he did and there not oh and the tank has a clown trigger

Carbon may help - a large water change would probably be even better. Sooner would be better than later - I personally don't know exactly what might happen to eels in copper, but @Bob Loblaw might.

Being that it's Cupramine and not chelated you're going to want to remove the eel asap. If for some reason it can't be removed- do a massive water change and add Cuprisorb, carbon, Purigen... May have to continually monitor copper levels if tank has rock/sand.
