Great, I'll search my food stores.
What type of gelatin are you speaking ?
Will it add phosphates etc. ?
What vitamins and how much ?
Can you post a recipe ?

This will work. Just something to bind the blessings together.
I don't really have recipes, I just buy what looks good at the market and usually on the cheap side.
I did feed my zebra eel 20 dollar clam meet though. All he would eat!

I would use the whole box in the blender. You may have to experiment with it to find a good balance for your foods.
You can blend together all kinds of what ever food you like. Shrimp, squid, clams, salmon, shark, what ever. Heck you can even through in something like rods food or the like if you want.
The gelatin will bind it all together and allow either the fish/eel to gulp it down or they can pick at it too.
Selcon or vit c would be good additives. This gets the vitamin right into the fish.

We never used a blender at our house. Had one, never used it. Wife threw it away...I pulled it back out.
She couldn't understand why I wouldn't let her throw it away. I use it for the fish! I also have my own set of sharp knives to cut up the food and keep our regular knives out of it. Cheap set will work fine.

What do you think of my idea.
Buy a DIFFERENT,....blender, add the gelatin, foods and vitamins then blend.
Pour into a bag like Larry's, to like 1/4" thick, and freeze it flat.
Then I can cut the 1/4"thick pack into strips of around 3" long, and feed him.
Will the gelatin and food stay together in this form, so he can just swallow the strip
or do you have a different approach ?

That sounds like a plan. Wife doesn't like me using kitchen stuff for the fish either.
Remember to experiment with it. There may be some oils or other that prohibit the binding. Figuring out how much of each to use to get the right results is half the fun. Seeing your fish eat it though, knowing they are getting too nutrition, is awesome!

My white ribbon! Have had it now for a few months after my zebra passed.
I have a ghost eel or white ribbon . Just like it. I never get to see it. When I feed only shows up the head. I had it for 9 months . .
How active is yours.
I really miss my golden tail in pictures few pages back .

How do y'all think a snow flake and a ribbon will get along in a 75? I have a small snowflake now that is about 10-12" long and eats like a pig. I am in the process of planning a 75 predator reef with the snow flake, 2 dwarf lions, harlequin tusk and one more fish. I want to add a second eel if possible. Here is my snow flake.

I personally wouldn't. I wouldn't go smaller than a 180 for a ribbon eel.
The snowflake may be too assertive for the ribbon too.
Snowflakes are notorious food snatchers which can be difficult with other big eaters let alone a difficult to feed fish like a ribbon.
A ribbon really needs to be the dominant fish to have any chance at survival unfortunately.
By no mean take that as pure fact, it's just what I've observed over my time in the hobby.
