How large of a tank is it? The snail and hermits would be fine with Maracyn 1. If its a big tank, it is going to use a lot of meds though....

What became of this cloudy eyed eel? Both eyes on my adult zebra are also cloudy. The started getting cloudy a little over a year ago and now they a very cloudy, almost white. He’s always seemed almost blind and appears to eat by smell, so his behavior has not changed.

Since it seems as this problem comes and goes and they are otherwise healthy for that long, One thing to think about is they may be getting stung, are those duncans I see right at his den entrance.

+1 on it maybe a coral sting, I hadn't thought of that. How often does it get cloudy eyes and how often has the issue come and go? Does the eel still eat well doing these episodes?

Yes Duncan, that is a possibility.

2 times a year maybe, this is the worst I’ve seen it however and never in both eyes before. Yes eating very well, actually eating better than ever currently. Feeding selcon with every piece of food.
