I really like eels and I’m getting some clownfish cause I’m new to saltwater, I found 2 types of eels that I heard would go good with clownfish. Those two eels are the dwarf eel and garden eels. Would these be good together? I don’t want my clowns to be eel food. The tank will be 50 gallons. Haven’t got the tank yet but I’m am currently planning on getting on one.

Garden eels need the tank to be designed specifically around there needs and not a good beginner fish. They won't harm clowns or any other fish for that matter. Clowns may spook the eels which could prevent proper feedins. Golden Dwarf is a pisco and may go after the clowns.

Garden eels are pretty particular in terms of tank requirements, so I'd not recommend them for this tank or until you get some more experience under your belt. Here's a good article with more info on their requirements:

Golden dwarf morays are expensive and may eat your clowns. Neither of these are a great choice for your tank, unfortunately.

Have you ever seen engineer gobies? They might be a way to get that eel look without any crazy requirements. Just know that any eel-like fish are going to require a tight fitting lid to keep them in the tank...
