Well it's done-ish. It was supposed to have multiple chambers but then every chamber I made didn't work for different reasons so now it's just a big bucket with biomedia and macroalagae. The macro is tumbling though which is fun!

Soooo I was never supposed to get a fish but what would you do if your LFS offered you a biota CB regal angelfish for $150?!

@i cant think @Petcrazyson Your demands have been met.

I'm late to the party, but did someone say bucket filter???

Yep... It was supposed to be an inception of bucket filters but I couldn't work out some kinks. I think I'll still use the blue for a skimmer in the future though.

Are you also a bucket sump user?

Come on, we’ve only seen it in the bag, we need it out of the bag as well you know ;)
I guess if we’re doing bag photos though, you wouldn’t mind seeing this one too.

Seconds after adding so it is not very crazy about eating but it is eating!

My goal this weekend is to get another feeding video out!
I just need to feed earlier (I usually feed around 7-7:30pm).

She’s a beauty! She’s that small she’s even not got the false eyespot. There are some stunning patterns in the CB ones but I had to grab the one I got because it was a wild caught specimen with a misbar ;)

Nice! Better organized than mine. The hope with mine is that I can use almost all macroalgae to do most of the clean up in my tank. We'll see how it goes.

I also toyed around with the idea of making different chambers in the bucket, think using some sort of large diameter pipe would work well, maybe irrigation pipe. make it the same height as the bucked but drill holes or cut slits in the top or bottom depending on where you want to direct flow. . . But in a 5 gallon bucket space is limited!

So the misbar is that the irregular stripes towards the back?
I can’t wait to see how the blue turns out. You can just see the smallest hint of it.
So its up to me now isn’t it :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:
Yep, don’t rush it though. I’m more interested in seeing some of those wrasse!

So I was this close to getting a little dragon wrasse. That’s the problem with this LFS whatever you want or think you may want they have it and it’s cheap and healthy.
They had an incredible trio of lubbocki in the display tank too.
Oh and this: I’ll leave the ID to Aaron as I can’t remember

Once I get home I want to add the first 2 wrasse. It’ll be a while until I get another angelfish though, so I think the tank will have a good amount of wrasse before any Angel is added.
