Wasn’t finding much info on this, but sounded like some kind of bacteria. Newly cycled tank, had fish in and been feeding for just over a week. Noticed some very light, stringy white, almost cobweb like growth on the rocks. I’ve had minimal light on (low and a couple hours a day.)

Temp: 77.4
Ph: ~8.1
Salinity: 34.4ppt
Alk: 7.3
PO4: .02
NO3: Bit of a question mark, I was reading ~10. Had it tested at my LFS Saturday and they had it at .5!

I just blasted it off the rock work with a Turkey baster, but boy there seems to be more of this than I thought.

Any ID and suggestions are appreciated!

Pics are too blue to tell. Please post pics under white light

That may be poriferan sponge but again hard to say with heavy blue light
