I don't think that most people truly are ULNS anymore and not too many ever were. Having waste product values near NSW is just natural, not ultra low - traces of waste products can be measured. You had to use media, chemical to drive waste products even lower to truly be ULNS - this required supplements buy the somebody like ZeoVit to supply, or you made your own. When folks are just natural, competent fish feeding alone is enough.
