Eflux 1050 return pump feedback

Hi all,

I was going to use a jecod 8000 return pump but it is too large for my sump. I can squeeze it in if I remove the strainer but it is definitely loud in the tight compartment of the sump, probably a lot of vibration going on. May try a silicone mat under it.

A friend just gave me a Eflux 1050 return pump, but that will involve redoing my plumbing to the manifold. So before I glue and test it in there I wanted to get feedback from people who have actually used it as I never have. Are they quiet? Are they reliable?

I haven't used their return pump... yet, but I have several of the wavemaker and controllers and they have worked very well and make no noise even after a couple years of use. And this is from a guy who used to give Current a lot of grief over their low powered led fixtures. They still sell those, but they now have a more powerful unit as well. If I needed a return pump and Current had one that was enough flow, I'd use it.
