Looking for some input from anyone with eflux return pump experience - especially the 6011 model.

I have the 6009 as well, but thought I'd upgrade to the 6011 and keep the 6009 as a backup. The 6011 seems to be noisier than the 6009, even when running at 1050 gph, which is the max for the 6009 and the minimum for the 6011. I assume the larger pump should be quieter at the same speed, no?

Any feedback would be appreciated. I know it's not because it's touching the wall or anything. The sound is coming from the unit itself.

Thanks

Mine makes a slight whirring sound and depending on the flow rate set it changes higher or lower pitched sound. It can be heard but I don't think its loud by any means. Don't have the smaller versions so I have nothing to compare to.

Are you referring to the current USA flux wave pumps? If so I have the 2100 gph ones and they are dead silent and been running just over a year. If I’m standing within a foot I can hear a slight hum or as above whirring sound but any thing more then a foot away from can’t hear it.

The 6011 is the DC return pump (3170gph)

Ah sorry. I just have their wave pumps.
