Greetings All,
A year + ago I started up a Biocube 32, and installed a Current eFLUX power head. I quickly decided that the one I bought was WAY too small, and I wanted another one anyway. So I bought the eFLUX model 6001 and an additional 1,050 gph pump. So now I have the little 660 gph (pump 3) pointing behind my rocks, and two 1050 gph in the display area. Pump 2 slaved to pump 1 and providing a very nice cross current.
Fast forward six months and neither pump 1 nor pump 3 work. Not only that but the remote will no longer turn on the P/S light, nor the Lock light. After several hours of scrubbing heads, and wiggling connections nothing changes. So back to Amazon for another Wave Pump Kit. 4 hours last night and I never did get pump 1, or 3 to work even with new controller, remote, and hub. Dumped both of them. Now I have a new pump #1 and pump #2 working Ok in the display area. However, I still can't slave pump 2 to pump 1 (pushing the P/S switch on the remote does not effect the controller) nor does the Lock feature work.
What's the lifespan of this equipment? Am I expecting too much from it? Am I missing a silly trick that will make all the lights go on?
Thanks...
