Egg cacoon like sacks

I noticed sack like deposits on some rocks. I only have trochus snails and they lay eggs like spirals. I have peppermint shrimp and cleaner shrimp maybe one of those?

Any ideas? Should I protect them. This is the second te I have seen them in the spot but did not see any babies.

Is this something I should worry about? Thank you for any insight.

Definitely not peppermint shrimp or cleaner shrimp - they carry their eggs by their abdomens.

Are you sure these aren't just grains of sand or something like that? They really don't look uniform enough for eggs to me.

Any chance you have a starfish? Looks like the pieces left when a starfish dissolves

No sand but I do have astrea stars but my harlequin has been nocking them down quickly. Much larger then a grain of sand. More like the size of a grain of cooked white rice, actually larger
