I'm trying to work out the best approach for the "screen" on the top of my weir overflow in my new build. My weir is 10mm glass and finishes probably 10mm lower than my desired DT water level.
I plan on putting a screen on the top of the weir, to stop the livestock taking a whitewater rapid ride, and was originally thinking of a short acrylic strip with teeth sawed into it. Something like in this picture.
Then I thought of whether that egg crate material would serve a similar purpose. I would then extend the egg crate higher into my hood.
Thoughts? Maybe the grid size on the egg crate would be too big? I figured that someone has probably thought of this before...so keen to hear your thoughts.
