I keep seeing these around the tank deposited on rocks or glass. I have siphoned two out, but this is the 3rd and 4th "batch". Are these some sort of eggs? If so, who is laying them? I am really hoping they are from one of the snails. I don't have a ton in the tank, right now I have these known inhabitants: astrea snails, trochous snails, nerites, star astrea, blue leg hermits, 1 peppermint shrimp, 2-3 really small pistol shrimp, BS urchin, 2 cucumbers.

Please let me know what you think. Thanks!

Weird and not really sure. Kinda hard to tell.

Thanks for takin a look. I know the pics aren't that great either. I am hoping they are one of the types of snails eggs. I searched for images of snail eggs though and found several types but none that look like this. These are zig zag and curly cue in a big single strand that is sticky.

I didn't siphon these out so I will update if I get some crazy plague of pest.

They look like cerith snail eggs, I don't see them in your stock list but that is my best guess from your photos...

I'll go back and look at my invoice, could be I ordered ceriths instead of nerites. I just remembered ordering a bunch of different snails. ;)

Thanks for looking!

Yep ceriths were part of the order so probably them. Do you know if there is any chance they will make it to snail hood?
