I've not found a similar pic. Noticed 3 oval shapes (maybe 4mm big each) on stem of my torch. Torch is healthy, no sign of brown jelly disease in the torch itself, just these on stem. Any ideas?

Photo tried to balance zoom and focus. They are transparent with brown / orange tinge (under mostly blues)

Thanks. Read up on it, ugh. For now it's just these, so will try to remove without popping.
Looks like you can pop it off the rock easily.

If so, this is super easy to remove.

Do this out of tank. A small bowl of old tank water will work great.

- take small knife and slice it off the skeleton and into the trash. Being careful not to damage the flesh
- take a small makeup brush or q-tip and apply 3% hydrogen peroxide to the area where the BA was. Avoid getting h2o2 on flesh.
- Let h2o2 sit for 3 or so minutes. (coral canstay out of water this long and be fine.
- rinse coral in old tank water in bowl.
- place coral back in tank.

Trick for taking coral out of tank, hold it upside down for a minute just above the waters surface. This will allow the coral to retract more, expel more water and help prevent any damage from flesh rubbing against the skeleton. It will also allow for more leadway to ensure you do not get h2o2 on the flesh.
