EGG SAC or Algae ball?

can anyone help me identify this? Algae or egg sac?

Tank inhabitants
6 turbo snails
2 clownfish
1 brittle star
1 cleaner skunk shrimp

tank is a little over a month old. I may have left a piece of shrimp in there that I feed the brittle.

It looks like a sponge to me. A bit puffy and round though. Mine looked similar to this but a bit more flatter. Appeared within the first couple of months. Have since disappeared.
