It's nowhere near the sand bed and they weren't moving so I don't think it was an invert. I've been looking on other forums and I'm pretty positive they're eggs. I wonder if anyone else has any experience with nems broadcast spawning
Doesn't seem like there's much out there on it. I'm reading a peer reviewed article on it right now to see what else I can find out. I wonder if they were fertilized... Or if it will be successful... The large one near it is a non-clone and it is always brushing up against it. I'm thinking maybe it triggered a response? I also have some green ones nearby but I only added the greens a few weeks ago so I'm thinking it's too soon to be those
i have had anemones spawn in my tank a few times.there will be 1000s of little balls in the tank and it also gets cloudy, but i have never seen any baby bta anywhere.it will also make a skimmer go crazy.
I haven't seen any little balls anywhere... Then again I haven't really had time to stare at my tank this weekend other than Saturday morning... Guess I'll have to wait and see...
those are eggs. BTA can get fertilized internally and then release small babies though the tips of their tentacles. Waikiki aquarium successfully sexually reproduced BTA
