Eggs on Acan? Or something worse?

Can anyone identify what these are? Sorry for the lack in quality I know it’s A bit difficult to see. They’re a clear/white spongy looking substance. Not sure if they’re eggs or something else. They’re all around the base of this particular coral and now attaching to the small rocks that the coral is leaning on. It’s in an area of decent flow from the return pump at the front of the tank. I can see the eggs or whatever it is moving around from flow. Appreciate any insight. Thanks!

It may be a baby Acan kind of hard to see. If there were eggs any idea what kind of eggs they could be? What’s your tank stocked with?

Yeah sorry, best picture I could get. Clown fish, court jester goby, yellow wrasse. Hermet crabs, various snails, narsus snails (I’m thinking it could be their eggs), peppermint shrimp, emerald crab, anemones, feather duster, other corals.

Sorry this took so long. Wanted to wait until I did a water change. Not sure if you can see them in the base. Out of the water they look like clear round balls…possible bubble algae?

It’s bubble algae. Emerald crabs eat it sometimes but it’s definitely hit or miss. Your best bet is to scrape off as much as you can using a toothbrush. Don’t do it in the tank though. I’d get a container of tank water so you can rinse any pieces of bubble algae and spores off before you put it back in the tank.

Ok great thank you! I have an emerald crab but haven’t seen him at that coral before so looks like I’ll have to take a toothbrush to it like you said. Appreciate the help!
