Eggs on favia

I have what I think are eggs on my Christmas favia in 2 spots. Any idea?

It kinda looks like mesenterial filaments.

It could be a sign of aggression against neighboring coral.
I thought the same thing. But they aren’t coming out of the mouth. They’re attached to sides. But upon looking again, one has retracted. The other is still there. Usually they come out of the mouth if I’m not mistaken? It happened not long after feeding so you may be right.
 
You guys nailed it. All retracted completely. What threw me off was the first pic. They were so far from the mouth.
 
yea I've found that corals can and will open a hole in their flesh and throw those things out to fight. my lobo just wrecked half of my cyphastrea after getting pushed into it by a snail

My brain coral destroyed my acro. Crazy warfare. I’ve seen it too many times to count. Placement is key.
