I found some eggs on my zoas.
Wasn't sure what it is so I left it for now.
After a little looking around on the good old inter-web I think I have Zoa Eating Nudis....
F my life...
I do not want to flat worm the whole tank bc I have a lot of shrimp snails and sps that I don't think will make it if I dose flat worm.

So my question is how can I get rid of them?

I was thinking about pulling the zoas out and either cutting that zoa off and letting it die or putting it into some fresh water for a bit, also last resort just try to scrap them off, but rather not do that to prevent any from floating away or spreading...

I have two 6 line wrasses in my tank that I know eat flat worms. Wll they eat the ZEN?

This is a nightmare... Not excited about fixing this at all....

You can just remove the nudis with tweezers and check for eggs. I remove eggs with a qtip or my nails. You can use tap water to dip and just shake rough. Someone here said flatworm exit dip a few weeks ago but i haven't had the pleasure of finding nudis on new frags to try it.

Good to know in case I ever encounter this problem!

You can dip in lugols or coral Rx too. That won't get rid of the eggs but will take care of any that have hatched. Good luck!

you have to pick the eggs off by hand turn on your blues randomlly at night or use a led flashlight when lights are out to look for nudis..they will be the same color as the zoas that are getting eaten...also look for your zoas that are closed all the time pull it out and dip.....also a small army of wrasses do wonders, malenarus, yellow coris, green coris and the always mean 6 line...good luck its not easy but worth the battle....

Funny think I have two 6 line wrasses in the tank. And they are just the most friendly fishes in the tank lol

Last night I took my large syringe and sucked out the two nudis I did find along with the eggs I found.
I found another set of eggs and got them off as well...
So the new plan will move all the zoas to my 60 gallon tank
And once I pull them out I will dip them and then I will put them into the new tank.

It sucks bc I have no idea how I will get some of the zoas off the rocks. Some have almost taken over whole rocks....

if the zoas are not closed up i would say the nudis are not on them...dip the whole rock put a power head in a plastic bin and mix your dip....and you can dip piece by piece and inspect for eggs at the same time...i will pm you my number if you have questions....

I'm pretty sure it is contained to one set of zoas.
No other zoas are closed. Even the zoas the eggs were on aren't even closed up.
I'm still going to dip all the zoas and move them over to my zoa tank.

Iodine (lugols). If its on a frag stick the frag in the dip but still in your hand and vigorously shake it for like three minutes, then drop it in the dip and stir it four around three minutes, then pick it back up and shake it for another three minutes. They should fall out. Eggs have to be manually removed, pay suspect to any zoas that are not opening regularly.

Dont take any chances! Go get some bayer and dip! This could potentialy devastate your whole Zoa collection.
