Eggs, or sponges or....??

Just dumped 3000+ pods from Algae Barn and threw in some LR to allow them to breed in my sump / Refugium. Hours laters I see these things spring up. Any ideas?

Pineapple sponges. They're fine. I have them in my tank and just remove some with water changes and what not. The ones that are in the fuge, I leave alone.

Thanks for the quick reply. Funny in that they have probably been there for days / weeks but never saw them until I spent 15 minutes hunting for pods I just poured in. Then you see one and boom 100 are everywhere.

Silicates in the water column they can get annoying to some but they're great filter feeders. Only if everything in this hobby was as easy to keep as these and aiptasia lol.
