Eggs wont hatch

Ok, have a pair of snow oynx that lay every 9 days on the money. I still can't seek to get eggs to hatch. Last time they laid was on 11-29-13 eyes turned silver 12-6-13. Same amount of eggs next morning nonne has hatched. 12-8-13 laid next clutch right next to previous clutch. 12-9-13 half had hatched during the day sometime or parent's picked them off. 12-10-13 still have 50+ eggs with silver eye's. What is wrong? Is my room not dark enough? Eggs laid to early? I have been fighting this for 6+ months and still can't get it right.



This is my problem they won't hatch. I see batach after batch eggs still in tank parents tending to them unitl the die. I have a batch that is still in parents tank with a new batch laid right beside them. We are now on day 13 and still wont hatch. Eyes on the eggs turn silver on day 7 like clock work. Just wont hatch. Room is dark and I cover it with a blanket. I feed them spectrum pellets. What else should I feed them? Do I need to take this out of there diet?

The only thing i think of is that Ur Clowns are lazy and dont fish Swoop them off the rock/etc.

Im confused on where these are at in a tank with other mates or QT .

They are in their own nano system. Little live rock and a pot. They host the pot and lay in it. Male takes very good care of eggs. I thought when eyes turn silver that they will hatch that night? These eggs go 6 days past that and still won't hatch. It seems the fry die in eggs and parents will start to pick them off. Usually around day 13 to 14.

What temp is the tank?
Pull the old eggs out and start fresh.
Feed the heck out of those fish, try some frozen mixtures with meaty sea foods and vegetables or algae like Rods.

Tank is at 81 and it stays there.

What are you using to check that temp? Normal you should see some variation in temp unless your running a chiller to cool the tank.

Digital thermometor. System is 30gallons including the sump. I run a hydra 300w heater. Came from my main system that I took down, only reason for using that big of a heater. Tank is very contestant on temp.
