Not sure exactly what these are. I am assuming some type of snail eggs. I have Dwarf Cerith snails, Florida Cerith snails, a couple Nassarius snails, a couple Trochus snails and Astraea snails. I tried doing a google image search but I always brought up sunflowers. Trying to get better pictures when the lights come on.

When I zoom in, it looks like the head of a Zoa.

Do you have Zoas in your tank? If so, what color?

Anyone else? They are in corners so hard to get a good picture. Might pull one out with a syringe and put it under the microscope.

Perhaps some sort of nudibranch? Almost all of those snails don't have brightly coloured eggs or they spawn.

If it was me i'd scrape em and suck em out...

I agree that’s why I was trying get an ID if possible. I did pull out a super tiny May 1/16” Nudibranch about a week after I put the live rock in so it is possible I have more and just have not seen them.

If you've noticed any of your scrambled egg zoas disappearing, oftentimes nudis will take on some of the visual characteristics of the food they're eating
I have heard that before but have not seen any of my Zoa’s missing but they have been partially closed. Will take a closer look.

Removed all that I could find and took a look under microscope. They scrape of easily and break a part just as easy so they seem like egg cases of some sort. Will keep researching.

The closest thing I can find is colonial rotifers but I don’t think that is it. I did put three bags of pods from ReefBreeders because was battling Dino’s. I don’t remember seeing them before adding the pods. I know I have a ton of small Amphipods as I can see them crawling all over the rock work at night.
